Peggy Pollard Felsenthal, painter of flowers, still life and landscapes in oil and watercolor, is trying to learn to "see". She has obtained a Bachelor of Fine arts from Saint-Mary-of-the-Woods College and a Master of Arts in English literature from the University of Memphis.
Throughout these studies the goal was the same--learn to see and feel and transfer those sights and feelings to a two dimensional surface. Ms. Felsenthal taught art and English in the Memphis City Schools and is now a professional painter and partner in Fountain Art Gallery. She is represented in public and private collections across the country and was named a favorite local painter by readers of Memphis Woman Magazine.
